Networking Pick & Cook for Food Growing Projects

Perhaps I should have expected a gourmet extravaganza today — given that it was a networking event for food growers and community cooks. Yet I was truly amazed by the feast of home made soda bread, snicker-doodles, pesto, potato salad and pakoras that was rustled up as we gathered on a rather dreary August day! With the wood burner keeping off the chill, we took refuge in the cabin to share our experiences, knowledge and questions. The lively discussions were facilitated by Community Chef, Anna Schwartz and the event was co-ordinated by Ann Baldridge from Harvest.
