Volunteer at PLOT 22
PLOT 22 is gardened and maintained communally by volunteers. If you'd like to get involved and help out in the garden we've a number of ways you can do so. You can also become a Friend of PLOT 22 by making an annual donation that supports all of our work. More Friends means more garden opportunities for more people!
A small team of female volunteers care-take PLOT 22 all year round, many are now session leads for our funded projects. We meet each Thursday to garden from 11am - 3pm and share a vegetarian meal together, usually cooked on site using veg from the garden. We are not taking on new volunteers at the moment but please complete the form below if you’d like to register your interest and we will be in touch.
These 2 hour taster sessions offer a great introduction to volunteering at PLOT 22. They take place once a month on a Friday and are open to all adults. No previous experience of gardening necessary just an interest in participating and contributing to the tending of this community garden. There are many ways to contribute and the sessions are supportive and lightly facilitated. Find out more or book a place for yourself here: Taster Sessions
