Our seasonal celebrations are a way for the whole family to connect with nature at Plot 22. Themed around the solstices, equinoxes and traditional pastoral festivals that fall in between, sessions include opportunities to care for the Plot’s plants and wildlife, enjoy seasonally themed crafts and activities and share lunch incorporating produce harvested from our garden.
Events are based around the festivals of Imbolc (the halfway point between winter solstice and spring equinox), Ostara (Spring Equinox) Beltane (May Day), Litha (Summer Solstice), Mabon (Autumn Equinox), Samhain (the Celtic New Year) and Yule (Winter Solstice).
