Garden Retreat Days (new dates coming soon)

Enjoy the everyday miracle of growing vegetables, the fun of preparing and cooking food together around the fire, and the supportive connection that naturally grows through meeting together in this way. Through the simple structure of these retreat days you will have the opportunity to learn the principles of mindful gardening. The flavour and focus each month will be shaped by what's growing. No previous gardening or cooking experience necessary, just a willingness to participate with a warm heart. 

Your work in the garden will be contributing to the on-going creation of the PLOT 22 garden and 10% of your ticket price goes towards the project funds. Places are limited to just 8 participants and finish times vary during the year when daylight hours are shorter.

* Why only women you may be asking? Because we want women who may not be able to attend mixed groups for religious or other reasons to feel comfortable to come along. We want to value the different kind of relating that develops women meet in circle together. In mixed groups we often find it hard to avoid falling into stereotypical gender roles when it comes to making fire and making dinner!
