Make your own Herbal Remedies using Spring flowers and leaves

With Medical Herbalist Jessie Martelhof Bsc(Hons), MNIMH

Sunday April 28th 10.30am-1.30pm

As we move into Spring and begin to see many flowers blooming, this workshop will teach us how we can harness their medicinal properties for health and wellbeing.

Learn how to make and take home a traditional Violet flower cough syrup and a healing skin balm for bumps and grazes, using Lavender and Calendula. You will use some flowers from the plot and other simple ingredients*.

Jessie will also share lots of fascinating information about other medicinal plants and how they can benefit our health. Includes information resources to take home and a reading list for further information.

Numbers are limited to 10 so book early to avoid disappointment.

The workshop will be held in a semi-outdoor garden environment so please dress appropriately for the weather and wrap up warm!

Includes tea and biscuits.

*N.B We will be using ethically sourced beeswax from local small-scale bee-keepers for the skin balm.
